How the translation works
The AI listens to the original speech and writes English directly, keeping the timing of each line. It is a good, natural translation, though names and specialist terms are worth checking.
Want subtitles in the original language too?
Set Output to Same language as spoken and run it again to get a second subtitle file.
Questions
Can it translate into languages other than English?
Not yet. The AI model translates into English only.
Do I need to choose the spoken language?
It helps. Automatic detection works, but choosing the language is more reliable.
Is the video uploaded?
Not by default: everything happens on your device. In optional Cloud mode only the sound is sent to be transcribed, and it is not stored.
